| Has Ruger worked out bugs with polymer mags?
I just ordered a 10,5, and 3 round polymer mags from cheaper than dirt for my Scout Rifle. I saw a lot of mixed reviews with people either loving or hating them and wondered if this is an issue that has been worked out or not. Im taking a shot on em but the price is right at 28 Bucks a mag and they are made by ruger.

I think that most of the issues were with the 10 round polymers. Some people have had problems and they say it helps to cycle rounds through for break in.

I have 2 of the 5 rnd poly mags and they work fine, better the the original
Steel mag supplied with the rifle. As the other guys said, they fit better in the mag well, lighter, easier to load, shame about the price.
I haven't tried the 10 rnd polymer mag yet, but I do have one on order.

I just got (and have taken to the range) the new 3 round and 10 round polymer mags. They worked well for me and I like being able to top load them. I had no issues with mine but I will say that the spring is considerably weaker than the stock mags. Not sure if that will develop into a problem or not later on but I'm glad I have a mixture of both.

I hope they have the issues worked out with them, I just ordered two from Brownells, they are currently a back order item and expected in around the 1st.
I have the steel AM 10 rounder that came with the rifle and bought an additional AM 5 round mag, the finish came off the 5 round magazine like it was made of shoe polish...yeah I had a mess.
It eventually cleaned up and there is still a good layer of finish on the magazine...I'm not sure what the deal was but if you get the steel AM 5 round magazine it may bleed finish...mine did...
Hopefully the polymer mags will fit a bit more snugly than the steel mags, the 5 round mag fits decent the 10 round wobbles in the magwell...

I just got two 10 round polymer magazines for the scout...very nice. They were waiting for me today when I got back from shooting the scout at the local range. The 5 and 10 round Accurate magazines it took with me (steel) worked flawlessly. Hopefully I can say the same for the polymer ones...they do look nice...I can hardly wait!

I bought a 10 rounder but it would not feed without double clutching the bolt, I took it back. Hope they work out the problems.

Could the bolt sticking and not the magazine? Since mine occasionally does the same. I'm not overly concerned about it since it will smooth up with time and use.

I may have just got a bad one.

The polymer magazines I have seem to be OK. Sorry to hear you had a problem with one you got. I'm ordering another one a five rounder and it should arrive any day now.

I like the polymer mags and they work for me...The snap on dust covers are a nice touch too. Feels kinda strange to say I'm not having problems with them after reading some of the posts from people who are...lol
