have not heard any different and they are still listed on the ruger site. Probably only make a limited run of them each year. What caliber are you considering?

A store near here has a 375 H&H for $1900. Seems a bit pricey. Nice wood, though. What are these going for these days?

Out of courisity, i went to www.galleryofguns.com which is a davidson's site. they have a dealer locater so i plugged in the zip for dallas, tx and checked a few on-line stores for the rsm. Asking prices ranged from the low $1700's to the $1900 range. But no 375 h&H currently in stock at davidson's. Checked www.gunbroker.com as well for rsm rugers and again no H&H but they did have a nib rsm in 458 Lott for 1499.00 .

You might want to check with wal-mart as well. Ask to see their gun ordering catalog. Wal-mart buys a lot of guns thru sports south and sports south still show the rsm in stock in 375 HH.

I hate wal-mart...but for a savings of a hundred or so dollars.............but still a special order and buying sight unseen.

If i really wanted that gun, i'd open negoations with the shop and see if they would come down.
Awful hard for smaller shops to actually keep a lot of guns in stock and stay price competitive against the chain and mega stores. I try to fair deal with shops before i buy from mega stores. Plus i appreciate the knowledge, service, and friendly folks of shops.
