Put a wood stock on my 77/357

This is the "factory original" that they sell on Midway.
It was a perfect​ fit and the wood is beautiful.
No idea if they are all this nice but I got a good one.

That makes all the difference in looks from a composite stock. Maybe not in total function but I much prefer a nice walnut stock on a rifle. To the OP there your 77/357 looks great!!!

It is not a floating barrel at all. Could fix that with a little sand paper I suppose, but realistically I never will.

That timber stock looks awesome. Its defiantly changed the look of the rifle.. Did you get to choose it or you were just lucky with what they shipped?.. Either way its a very nice "traditional" upgrade.

BHD got a beautiful stock from Midway. The figure on the buttstock is awesome! That is one pretty rifle. I love the stainless barreled action in pretty traditional wood.
