RAP 6.5 Creedmore

I have a RAP 6.5 Creedmore. I put a Boyds laminate stock on it and a Vortex
Viper scope on it. I seasoned the barrel with Hornaday 140 SST factory ammo and dialed it in at 250 yards with 143 ELD. It seems to be very accurate and I like the feel of the gun. During that process, the bolt on the gun would begin to seize up after the third or fourth shot, sometimes even the second shot would create difficulties in opening the bolt. Do you have suggestions on what I need to do to fix this issue?

I have the same rifle.
Check the stock bolts, I seem to remember having a similar issue that was related to over tightening the bolts when I mounted mine on the Boyd's stock.

Check the torque on the front screw on the trigger guard.

Mine has one 3, one 0 and one 8, no e's or o's at all. It has a WIN. somewhere in the mix.

Set the inch lb to 60 on front and back. Good to go. Have the same rifle and have put more than a few rounds through with no problems. Ran the barrel hot but not crazy hot.
This gun, like any rifle shooting a fast mover, needs to cool.
Were you pushing a lot of rounds down her without letting it cool?
