Tang Safety Model 77 Trigger

I just bought a tang safety 06. I read in the manual about the trigger adjustment, and saw the warning from Ruger about the over travel screw that needs to be replaced? I am wondering if the trigger can be adjusted to less pull without problems? the manual says to only increase weight not decrease which is what you would expect from the manufacture.
Thanks

Go to Midway and order a basix sear and remove the one in your model and replace with the basix sear. You will not regret it and have the trigger you want.

But to answer your question yes the trigger can be adjusted to some extent.

Hairtrigger. Those instructions are not for the trigger on the tang safety. They are for the mark 11. The tang safety model has a total different trigger.
