Now it's my turn to apologise.
OP asked for advice, not trigger discussions.
The M77 is only second to the U.S. 1917 Enfield (good luck finding one of them) same action, quality and strength. No other mass produced rifle can compete with a Ruger.
That's why M77's are my shooters and Winchester's are either safe queens or sellers
