Thanks.
I'll assume 40mm?
I was on the phone with Weaver after bringing the rifle home and we determined the 6 hole tacticals would not work. I really liked the look of those, too. Seemed like very solid mounts.

These are what I ended up with

The extra highs.

I picked one up in 308. Went with a Nikon 14X40 scope. Shooting really well. Does not like any hard primer ammo though. Loves match grade. This is my first long range gun, meaning 600 yards plus. Getting it on the paper was fun. Learning the scope was allot of fun as well. I'm very happy with it. The light strikes on the Federal ammo was a pain. 3 different boxes and out of say 20 shots 8 went off.

Anyone else have failures to fire with hard primer ammo? Any problems with NATO 7.62 from any country?

I shoot PPU 168 match 308 I have heard people complain about their primers but I have had zero problems threw my RPR and it's the only ammo I use right now

Brandi has a spectacular aura aboutBrandi has a spectacular aura about
When I first saw the RPR on TV I said "if they offer this in 6.5 CM, it'll be huge and I will want one." The next thing the host said was "6.5CM" and I was adding it to my "wish list".

I purchased RPR 308 and so far it's the best shooter I have ever purchased for under $1000

Walked into Turners Outdoors to pick up a handgun I had in jail. While I was waiting for the guy to get my gun from the back room I saw what appeared to be an RPR stuffed way in the back of a rack behind 5 other big guns.
Sure enough it was a RPR in 243win. At first I was wanting a 308, but then decided the 243 would be a nice fit in my stable.
So, I bought it. Now to learn what I need to learn about this cartridge.
I shoot a 223 Mossberg MVP and a Springfield M1a Scout Squad. Where I shoot I can get a clean line of shot out to 610yards. I can hit steel with the 223 at about 250yrds and the 308 to the 610 yard limit.
What can I expect from the 243?

Because of the twist for this 243, it will run with the Creedmoor at your 610 yard limit.
