Had this offered to me in a trade over the weekend and would like to find out some info if possible. How rare is a new in box paddle stock M77 MKII stainless with factory iron sights and chambered in 300 Win Mag? Any idea as to the value as well? Thanks in advance for any help!
I've have a "few" of the Skeleton/Zytel/Boat-paddle stocked M77Mkiis.
The stainless ones are not rare. 300WM was a pretty common chambering.
The BLUE ones ARE unusual, especially in unusual calibers.
The value of your rifle is what someone is willing to pay for it. If you do a search on any of the auction sites, and look for the ACTUAL prices paid, you will find a large variation due to condition, original box and documentation, etc.
I would think that $500-$800 would be the norm for this rifle. If someone just had to have it, it might go to $1000 on a GREAT day.
Thanks for the info! I was really wondering more about the factory iron sights? That is the part that I thought may make it unusual especially in a skeleton stock model........
yes, with the open sights, they are a little bit more unusual. Sorry I missed that. I am at work, and don't have access to my Ruger reference guide right now. When I get home I will look it up. I will send you a PM tomorrow.
Cptpoly I got your message thank you I am accessing this forum from my phone and am having problems answering your message. it sends me to ruger forum and it doesn't like my password. I am on the forum through tapatalk, any way I really appreciate your taking time to look up info on my rifle
Third bump........ Thanks for the heads up about the PM's! This system is a little different from the ones I'm used to..........
