Ideas on paint scheme

If you had your choice of a paint job on an ati strikeforce stock. What would it be? It would be going on a SS 10/22.

Would you want it flashy like blue skulls with glossy clear?

Or more utilitarian like say camo? Or camo skulls with matte clear?

Or skip the skulls and paint something else?

Fire is out for now but lightning is not.

Thinking of a dark grey H.R. Giger (the Alien creator from Aliens the movie) inspired theme with matte clear.

Thoughts?

It's already a solid color. And I'm not doing all that prep work for basically a cleared primer job.

Besides that's like requesting Eddie Van Halen play 'Mary had a little lamb'.

I'm looking for a theme here. That would be fun and 'slightly' more challenging then say..... Brown:/

I'm sure he would to, but what a waste. I should have picked another analogy as I'm no 'Eddie"... but the point is the same. It wouldn't have made sense to say 'Joe the unknown musician'

I might throw the avatar somewhere in there, although I'm not liking the bright yellow.

If these stocks were not so expensive, I'd do a Hello Kitty or Sponge Bob one

Seriously who could be afraid of Hello Kitty? Maybe a camo kitty version?..hmm

Although I do know of a lovable lavender dinosaur I could paint??lol

How about the diagonal gray camo like on the British Fleet in WWII? Always been a favorite of mine and would compliment the SS.

I'm liking the sound of that! Do you have a picture for reference? I searched for it but could only find the 'razzle dazzle' design. Which is interesting by itself.

edit: The razzle pattern I'm looking at is like a tiger stripe that has been broken up randomly. Is this what you were thinking of?

That's my favorite color scheme, camo pattern, by far. I think I'm going to play around with that today. Try to keep the camo part and hide some pictures in there.

As far as clear? high gloss or matte?

Thanks for the suggestion!
