Not so scarce after all

Keep seeing posts about people not being able to find 10/22's. My usual haunt seems to be the exception to this. They show 70 of the blued/synthetic models in stock for $230.

I would be interested to find one myself. I have seen them around but usually for double the regular price (or more).

Well, was gonna keep this as a tease but seeing as there's three stripped receivers here already, I really don't need another.

I see them at the local Dick's often. NJ sucks so that is mainly where I can go and still get a decent price

Here is the actual page for the 1022...I think the reason they have so many is they are hard to find on the website...

Kittery Trading Post

Okay I see the link doesn't get you all the way there...you still have to sort it out...seems like a reasonable price all things considered and they have them that is 99% of it...

My LGD has had a continuous order for a dozen of them ever since I can remember and has a long customer waiting list. They'll come in one or two at a time leaving ten customer's disappointed. I don't know if he'll ever be able to catch up at this rate. Smithy.

Size (volume) matters.

I am in my 6th week of waiting for a ss carbine with the synthetic stock. My LGS is one of the largest in the mighty state of Rhode Island.

I was at one of my LGS just over the border in NH on Friday.... They had at least 6-7 different 10/22's on display along with a nice used 10/22 magnum.

They also had several of the "evil black guns" priced from $1,000-$1,500

I haven't seen the camo TD. Is that new, a special edition or somebody's custom work?

Still pretty scarce here in northern Illinois. Some of the local stores have had some of the "standard" 10/22's, but they don't stay on the shelves very long. I was looking for a Takedown, and nobody had them, nor could they be ordered. I stopped at a bigger LGS last saturday that's about an hour away, just because I was passing by, and they had just gotten a shipment of Ruger stuff in. They had three Takedowns, so I latched onto one and an extra 10 round mag. They said they had gotten a BX-25 in, but someone saw them start to put it on the shelve and snatched it up($49.99) on the spot. I went back 24 hours later to pick mine up and most of the 10/22 stuff was gone. All the Takedowns were gone and all the magazines as well. They only had a couple of carbines left.

Not very common in northern Nj eithe I just bought my son in law a Marlin model60as he wants a 22 semi for shooting. i bought it because it was the only semi aout 22 and it was under 200 dollars and detachable mag aside it has been made for over 50 years and sold millions.
