What a 10/22 is worth.

I was offered by a friend his Glock 23 gen3 for my 10/22. I wanted opinions on wether that's a good trade or not. Will the 10/22 price be going up like some of the other semi auto rifles?

Tllrugerjunky is an unknown quantity at this point
Most likely not 10/22 is the most sold 22 on the market its a big production there very easy to get even now ide say u would be getting the better end BUT sense u cant find an AR. Anywhere and there on back order for 12-18 months u can turn a 10/22 into an AR platform so i would keep the 10/22 for pure customizing inless its money worth your worried about trade it if u want the more expensive gun= trade customizing versitility and pure fun= keep it and enjoy(:

I really don't care for Glocks but I think you would be getting the better deal.

I wouldn't even think twice. I'm a newbie and besides my benelli the only other gun i own is a 10/22. The glock is almost double the price and you can sell it and buy another 10/22 when the market settles if you don't like it and still be money ahead. My father in law just bought a glock 23 gen 4 and its nice. I'd go for it before he changes his mind.

You'd definately be getting a better deal. I've just purchased one of each and I payed $200 more for the G23gen4.

Prices here where I live: 10 22 = $218, Glock 23 gen4 = $599.

I think you are getting a great deal if you do it.
