California 10/22.....

I would like to know how the AW laws apply to 10/22 rifles and if there are any decent parts / accessory dealers in northern California.
I have a bland 10/22 circa 1970's, it needs some spice in its life.

Also... has any one seen this? it looks fun.

Standard ACP

Read 'em and weep.... http://oag.ca.gov/firearms/regagunfaqs

Or you can fast-forward to the general characteristics link: http://oag.ca.gov/firearms/regs/genchar2

Looks like it mostly only covers centerfire semi-autos, but you still might want to be sure that adding a folding stock or other "evil" features won't get you into trouble.

The "assault rifle" rules don't apply to a 22 rimfire so there are a lot of parts you can legally add to your gun.

I don't own a 10/22 but I have seen some tricked out ones at the range. Tapco makes some interesting parts for the 10/22

TAPCO® INTRAFUSE®

The thing that will still get you in serious trouble is possessing a high capacity magazine (more than 10 rounds).

TMB will become famous soon enough
I can't think of any in my area. I did see some look alike high cap mags in Big5.They had ARs with bullet button also.
