Looking at the 10/22 on Budsgunshop.com the Deluxe Sporter model finish is "Blued" and on the Ruger web site says the finish on the same gun, same part number (1102) is "Satin Black". Which is it... or am I reading this wrong?

I've always thought the term "blued" refers to the type of finish and not its actual color.

Standard blue on the barrel with a satin black coating on the receiver. A few years ago Ruger switched to an economical matte blue on the barrel and a crinkle finish on the receiver, but the backlash was such that they recently switched back to the original finish.
