200 dollars is the average price of a stanard 10/22. Not really a deal at all. Do yourself a favor and check out your local gun shop. Even if its still 230 your supporting a small business.

I would go to a LGS anyday over cabelas or gander mountain. As long as the CS is good its worth the extra money to support them as well.

Try to bring a 10/22 back for any adjustments and you will wish you spent a few more dollars at your LGS !

I just bought 10/22 carbine for $229 at Dick's Sporting goods.

Carbine, $250 at LGS. I'm not buying, but if I was I'd get it from Gander. I agree w/ supporting local, and they get a lot of my business, but $50 is a lot of cash to me. LGS prices are usually pretty high, and their service can be spotty.
