BUT, you get what you pay for, and don't have to get a trigger job, new barrel etc to have a shooter. |

Congrats, the CZ is a very attractive rifle. But, I wouldn't say the two rifles are designed for the same job.

Which caliber did you get in the CZ? I've been thinking of selling my 10/22 that I built and getting a 455 in .22LR and .17HMR. Haven't decided to do it for sure yet, though.

I was reading the CZ/BRNO forum on the Rimfire Central.com site. It was enough to convince me that the CZ was the way to go. Didn't see any complaints about quality issues there.

As you said ...the 10/22 is an AMAZING plinker. . |

My favorite rifle years ago was my model 52 B Winchester with a Fecker 16X scope.....years ago.
I don't think I said anything about the 10/22 being an "AMAZING plinker"??????????

I bought a CZ452 after I had my 10/22 for a while. My CZ is very accurate once it warms up; the first and sometimes the second shots are fliers. Common problem for CZ's apparently. So while its fun to shoot for an extended session, can't really rely on it for hunting. So my 10/22 is my hunting tool. Got a Henry and a 22/45 for plinking.
