Same report as Scooter. My 25 rounder loads easy and works fine.

I've been using the butler creek hot lips for 20+ years. Have never had a problem with them. Looking to get a couple of the ruger 25 round clips though just to have in my takedowns case.

haven't tried the butler creek. had the promag, and returned it. the ruger bx-25 mag that i subsequently bought has worked flawlessly and i'll eventually probably get a few more. i also like the tri-mag assembly where you can attach three 10rd mags to it and just turn it around after emptying each mag. nice little gizmo and it keeps the profile of the whole rifle a little smaller, unless you particularly like the look of the 'banana mags'.

I've got one Butler Creek 25 round mag, but it has plastic lips. After buying a few Ruger BX25, I haven't used the BC mag. After several thousands of rounds thru the BX mags, not one problem.

Go for the Ruger BX-25. Well worth a few dollars more than the others.

Ruger BX-25.
It's not just for semi-auto's.

I thought you could only possess one you had.

I always see people selling BX-25's at the gun show. Failing that, I'm sure your local dealer could order one for you if they don't have them in stock
Also, Welcome to the forum! |

sportsmans surplus also carries them, for a bit more (but after shipping, etc. who knows). i raised a question recently about travelling legally with high cap mags, and it seems there are really only a handful of states that are still holding onto the brady-era restrictions, on a state by state basis.
