I'm going to buying a 10/22 soon and was looking to replace the barrel sometime down the road. The problem I'm having is I can't find any replacement barrels that have a slot for iron sights as well as threads for a muzzle brake. Anybody know where I might find one?

A decent gunsmith should be able to provide both services to any decent barrel. For the threading, I'd contact whichever dealer you'll be gong through to get the suppressor since he'd likely have the ability to do so or point you in a good direction.

One option is to get a threaded barrel that has enough metal near the muzzle and cut a standard 3/8" dovetail in it. Most of the threaded barrels are the heavy design with the .920" diameter. More than enough to cut a dovetail. That way you can mount a normal iron front sight or just install a dovetail filler until you are ready to install a front sight.

Just make sure the barrel is steel and not aluminum sleeved or composite material.
