I thought I saw a link to a peep sight that screws into the two rear holes in the 10/22 receiver. Does anyone know where I can get a peep for the 10/22? I don't want one the replaces the rear sight.
thanks

I tried the XS sights for 10/22 they were great 50 yards and less but are not suited for longer range in my opinion thought the XS salesman will sing a different tune. The Tech sights are the only other ones that got me excited.

Here's one with a rail, from Nodak Spud. I don't think this is what you're looking for though. nodakspud home page.htm |

My 1022 sports a peep sight made by Wiliams. Came with several screw in apetures and a taller front sight (required). I have found it to be a fun and accurate alternative to the factory irons.

The Williams sight for the .22 mounts right up. A very good sight.

I recently got a set for mine...liked it a lot...they look nice too being low-profile and all...can't say enough good about it...agree completely that past 50yds it's just to hard to see the target to real accurate...kids probably shoot wings off flies at 100yrds with them but not me...lol...
I ball parked the elevation and windage based on the leaf on the barrel approximated to the new new height of the front fire sight...turned out to be about as accurate as it could have been at 50 yards...nice...
Now...the elevation adjustment is done by loosening the screw that holds the aperture on the dovetailed ramp...so it's not like you can lock-tite that thing in place prior to setting it up...took it out and shot in the ball park of 500 rounds at the range on a bench...when fired the last shot the sight was still on...took off from sand bag rest and placed in gun case about 6" away from where last shot was fired...closed case...got home...took gun out...no aperture...not in case...very angry now...lol...
At this point I would like a fire sight front post and a tech sight rear with adjustable elevation on rear...TS 200...
Not sure if I can get fire sight front sight that is compatible with the height of the tech sight rear sight...but it is what I would consider the way to go...
I bought my Williams Peep Sight from cheaperthandirt and now see that there are a lot of options with the Williams if you go their website...
One of them is a rear ghost ring with elevation "glow dots" not sure what you call those...
All things considered...will either get the "upgraded" Williams Peep on the rear or figure out how to mix and match the TS200 with the fire sight front...would prefer the latter...wonder if anyone has already been there and done that...???
