I have not tricked out any of my 10/22s in this fashion, but this is a good thread and now I am thinking about it. | Don't you need the zombie bullets also?

I didn't get it to kill zombies. I have been looking for a cool conversion and I've always like the bullpup design but couldn't get the other one the market because I'm a southpaw. The Red Jacket takes that into account. We'll see!

It is a drop in stock so the trigger will still be the one you had prior to the conversion. Secondly it has a deflector for left handed shooter which is why I bought it. Now the down side. I have not received it yet and I ordered in June. But they did originally say November was the delivery date. They don't have very good customer service and there have been numerous complaints to various agencies and on different web sites about Red Jacket. I personally have sent e-mails two different times asking for an update on my order and have to date received no replies. I hope I haven't wasted my money after being dazzled by a TV program and a promise! Will keep you all informed on my progress!

| New to the 10/22
Im thinking of doing this too. It looks like a better design, but I just want to know if its worth twice the amount of the Muzzelite?

| Hello guys.
Hey everyone, my name is Brian and I am the lead design on the Red Jacket ZK-22 Bullpup stock. There is a long thread with photos and plenty of info on the stock at the "bullpupforum.com". They have entered assembly and will start shipping any day now.
Joe and I invested over a year on this stock. Joe has over twenty 10/22's all at different custom levels. We nit-picked our way through 24 different prototypes of the stock, 10 triggers, 11 safeties, 7 ejection port covers. We have 13 injection molds, a metal trigger bar with an adjustable "trigger take up", and all ambi controls. I took my knowledge I gained at Magpul while working on the PDR, AFG, PMAG and other projects and put it into this stock. Feel free to ask me questions, however I spend the majority of my forum time other places.
Thanks for your time!

Thanks for your time! | Brian,
This is all well and good but there are some issues as well that have nothing to do with the stock or its design. It has to do with customer service and communication. I have encountered many people who have ordered this conversion many months ago and have had no communication on the progress of the order, including me. "Any day now" is pretty vague and does not individually address customers. A company that does excellent customer service would have each customers e-mail address and would give periodic updates on the order with something more concrete that "any day now" I am still excited about getting this conversion and I hope the lesson learned is to be a really great company, customer service is the first priority, and I would tell Will, or Joe that to their faces

Excellent post Icarus. With nothing tangible to go by, and initial shipments already late, some updates by Red Jacket Design is welcome. I'm sure that is what Brian is trying to do however there are other buyers who aren't a member of this forum who should get an update also.
I myself am waiting for some real worls feedback before ordering my red jacket bullpup. I am very interested though and if the stock turns out to be as portrayed in the videos I've seen, I'll be a happy owner.

Icarus: Cool, Joe and Will will be at Shotshow Jan 15-18 and you can express your dissatisfaction personally.
I thought I would sign up to chat with some guys that might have questions about the stock, and offer some information to those interested in it. It's that simple.
Fireballsocial: I'm not sure what you mean by "nothing tanagible to go by". We are still set to ship "in fall". Nothing has changed from the original realese time. There is plenty of "real world feedback from guys that shot it, held it at the 2012 Bullpup shoot. There is a full review on "jerking the trigger.com"
Thanks guys |

Meaning I haven't held the stock, shot the gun nor no one here has, that's all. I'm never the first guy with the new toy because I want to know any bugs that may crop up.
My apologies on the ship date. I read here it was supposed to ship in early November.
Plenty of first impressions maybe but I'd like to let more of the public give some feedback before I send in my order. I want to feel comfortable that reliability and longevity are on par with the ruger action it uses.

No problem (with shipping dates). They are being assembled now and will start going out anytime. There isn't an "exact day" yet, or I would let you know. It is measured in days, and not weeks or months though.

Your reply is telling them come to Shot Show and tell you that in person? Come to a show you know the general public cant get into? Id almost think you were trying to say, "Say that to our faces."
Makes me think twice about sending any money in Red jackets direction.

Thanks guys | I was one of the people that was very enthusiastic about the conversion. But you are still giving very nebulous times of delivery. In my book "fall" is past and it is now coming into winter. November is now gone and we are into December. So the published times for delivery are past and there is nothing concrete concerning delivery! I would love to go to shotshow but I fear that won't be possible. I am also sure that Will and Joe will be mobbed and their "handlers" won't allow any "free" discussion. I still have high hopes for this conversion and I am willing to wait!

Makes me think twice about sending any money in Red jackets direction. | does sound like kind of a cocky response. But that has been the MO of Red Jacket anytime I have had encounters with them. They also have numerous complaints primarily concerning customer service as reported by the Better Business Bureau. I had hoped that Red Jacket reaching out in a forum like this indicated a new attitude guess not!
