| 10/22 Gatling Gun
Have you seen this version of a Gatling gun? Apparently they take 2 - Ruger 10/22's and make a Gatling style semi auto gun. That could be a fun plinker gun or does this fall into the category of - just because to can make it doesn't mean you should? I think it is still pretty cool for a novelty gun. Check it out on the You Tube link below.

There is one a a LGS, but they want way to much for it,$1300. The kit can be had for about $400.
Looks fun!!

At four rounds a turn it would not take long to run through a bulk pack or two.
However this video below for a AM15-1 would be a lot faster. http://dailygunpictures.blogspot.com...chine-gun.html

I would like to see that AM15 high capacity 165 round Mag or the 275 round mag adapted to a single 10/22, with a 16.5" barrel.
Who here is going to engineer this??

Looks fun!! | not a bad price because you would still have to buy 2x10/22 so that is another $500, extra high cap mags x2 thats $60. That $960 right there not including shipping and taxes on the kit or including time he paid his employees to put it together. He is probable making $200 profit. The novelty of it will sell it to someone.
I think it looks really cool and fun but as other have said it would get old fast. One of those guns that I wish I knew someone that owned so I could shoot theirs form time to time.

Very neat novelty. But I don't catch the Gatling connection, the barrels don't rotate?

A Gatling gun is a mounted gun with a cluster of barrels, fired by a hand crank. (I don't know if two is considered a cluster) but I still like it.

I have seen one...they are cool for novelty but not very practical imo...
You can have the same kind of fun for $25 with a bmf activator...
If I was going to spend that kind of money on something like that I would get a license and go full auto...that is where the real fun is... just my opinion... |

Hand crank triggering predated Gatling
" Gatling gun was hand-crank operated with six barrels revolving around a central shaft, although some models had as many as ten. Early models had a fibrous matting stuffed in among the barrels which could be soaked with water to cool the barrels down. Later models eliminated the matting-filled barrels as being counterproductive."
But none the less it's a cool shooter
