This is my second 10/22 (I traded the first one for a single-six) and I love it. I like to use Sure-Shot exploding targets like they do on Top Shot Sure Shot Exploding Targets

I use mine for target shooting, both indoor and outdoor ranges.

Strictly target shooting for me. Best way to spend a lazy summer day.

Plinking, target at the range, squirrels, snakes and the .22 pistol is good for wacking an occasional shark.

Since vermin and random objects are my targets, I guess I would say both

My 10/22 (avatar pic) has ended the life of a lot of paper targets, pop cans, etc. It's a straight up killer.
