This is my second 10/22 (I traded the first one for a single-six) and I love it. I like to use Sure-Shot exploding targets like they do on Top Shot Sure Shot Exploding Targets |

Plinking, target at the range, squirrels, snakes and the .22 pistol is good for wacking an occasional shark.

Never hunted with mine (implies I am going to eat what I kilt). I have shot a few skunks and opossums before. Mostly target/plinking.

My 10/22 (avatar pic) has ended the life of a lot of paper targets, pop cans, etc. It's a straight up killer.
