extractor replacement

extractor replacement

I ordered a replacement extractor for my 10/22 and was wondering if there is a thread that would tell me how to change it?

Wow, it took like five minutes to tear the rifle down, replace the extractor and put it back together.

I usually take my extractor out when I field strip for cleaning the crud off it... its super easy

That is a good idea. Mine had never been out and I've shot about 100,000 rounds through it. I clean the bolt but couldn't get into the crevices so the bolt looked clean but the hidden part of the extractor was very dirty.

P.S. I'll be going to the range today and will make a post in the 'range' section.
