Icarus, the gun you are referring to is a tapco stock with goodies added. I had a quad rail that I didn't really enjoy, so I butchered it to just fit the receiver with the carry handle (about to the rear sight on the barrel), to "sort of" give an ar look. Then bolted a couple rails to the side of the stock, added a carry handle, rail covers, and a front sight.

Nice rifles and even nicer pictures of them. Good job with the photography.

Bozack is an unknown quantity at this point
Not my builds, my brothers. Both 10/22's. First one is his and the second is my nieces. Pictures don't do hers justice.

Is the carry handle an option or something you rigged for it?? I loved my M16 in the army and I'd really like to re-capture some of the love!
Between an AR looking gun and a 10/22 guts I would be a very happy camper!!!!

My latest started as a carbine and morphed into this:

But after it was done, I just didn't care for the stock, so it morphed into this:

It now wears a 3-9X40 rather than the 6.5-20X50 Simmons. Other than that, it's just the way I originally built it.......Green Mountain Barrel, owner refinished receiver, owner trigger job, owner polished bolt, etc. I tried to do everything I could myself, had a lot of fun, and received a lot of satisfaction from the build.
