Very nice paint...looks fabulous...

I am interested in knowing what you think of the performance of your muzzle brake...assuming that is a heavy barrel I would think it doesn't make much difference...but did you do before/after accuracy tests and brake test on it...

Custom Ruger 10/22 Stock

I make the stocks. They are made out of birch laminate, then pillar and glass bedded, and then they are painted.

It does. I'm not big on drum magazines but one would look great in it.

Probably best to try a whole new thread asking this as it'll get attention better than being buried in this thread.

first post. first firearm too! I just bought most of the parts and gun over black friday and am just a receiver and bolt away from another 10/22.

Priced matched dick's $179 price at Bass Pro.

In a Boyds SS Evolution Stock, Forest camo. BSA Sweet 22. I picked up for $40 on Amazon. I think its on sale again so check it out! the prices always fluctuate on this glass. Haven't brought it to an outdoor range to really test it yet.

VQ Extractor

Took a lot of work but finally got this GMR Barrel to fit. I love it. 16 inch fluted .920

I ordered the Hornet B trigger but got the Custom Spitfire. Not sure what the difference is but it's a very nice trigger for the price anyway. 2 lbs. My next build will have the KIDD parts for sure.

The Green Mountain Rifle barrel installed. Also picked up a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot sight. I like using this a lot more at the indoor range. Don't like swapping scopes too much so I'm guessing I'll be building a second 10/22 soon.

So far this experience has been more fun than I could imagine. I'm more used to tinkering with electronics and computers but I've found myself a new hobby.

I bought my .22 this year specifically to go rabbit hunting. Didn't see a single one

Nice haul, where about did you go?
