What all is involved in swapping out a Charging handle on a 10/22T ???

I want to send my bolt out to be jeweled and replace the charging handle at the same time.

I want the over sized charged handle Tactical Innovations sells but they have a Crimped style and a C-clip style?? how do i know what i need?

And will it come right out or do i have to grind anything?

Read the manual to learn to to remove it - pretty basic. Reverse order when you get the new one.

I believe the "crimped" style is exactly that; the handle is crimped over the rod as a means of securing it. A "c-clip" style would be slid over the rod and secured with a clip. I would think you need to check your stock handle to see if the finger knob is crimped to the rod or clipped. Maybe Ruger changed design over the years.
