I have a Ruger 10/22 I bought from Wal-Mart couple month ago. I've been wanting a bipod for my rifle but just haven't had the cash for one yet. My fiance bought me a bipod for christmas (but he gave it to me early to see if it fits) and we found out it doesn't fit. Apprently this bipod only fits bolt action rifles and my rifle is not bolt action. The bipod product is a Winchester product that's commonly sold at Wal-Mart. Is there a mod out there that I could possibly buy for this bipod, or for my rifle, or do I need to buy a new bipod all together?

Thanks!

btw, here is a picture of what my 10/22 looks like

Most bi pods fasten to a sling swivel stud on the stock.

From the photo your 10/22 does not have a sling swivel stud.

So you need to buy the stud from a gun shop and install it or have them install it and your bipod should fit.

Take your bipod & rifle with you (uloaded) when you buy the stud.

the description is misleading the bipod is generic like most and is made to fit any rifle that uses a sling stud on the forend of the rifle....

I have looked at that Winchester bi-pod at walmart..almost bought it a few times.
it will work you will just need to get a sling swivel stud...drill your stock and install in on that.

The carbines obviously dont have them...but my K1022T does factory. Goodluck.

some wally world stores sell the swivel stud (generic) that will work, comes with stud, nut and additional hardware...
