BX Trigger Reset

Is there any way to change the length of the trigger reset on the BX-trigger, it feels like it's about an inch. The unit it self is a bit disappointing, compared to what I'm used to. Rapid firing is impossible without an exaggerated movement with my trigger finger forward. It's so bad that I think the mag is empty and stop shooting only to find there's a round in the chamber and even rounds in the mag. Should I junk this trigger and look for something else.

I installed one in my International 10-22 and really like it, never had a problem with it, as far as resetting etc. It has a consistent 2# trigger pull and is very accurate. You might note that I also have a Timney trigger on my AR-15's and really can't tell the difference as far as shooting is concerned. One cost $60.00 the other cost over $200.00, I'm sure the Timney will last a lot longer than the Ruger custom trigger but I don't shoot the 10-22 near as much as I do the AR's. If I did I would probably have gone with the Timney trigger designed for the 10-22.

I've never had any reset problems with my Ruger BX trigger, it works very well. Maybe yours is not working correctly. I also have aftermarket 10/22 triggers and really can't tell much difference between them and the BX.

Replace the guts with a drop in trigger kit from Kidd if your not wanting to go with a single or dual stage complete aftermarket trigger group.

A 1" trigger reset in a BX unit? Really? I call BS! Mine works well without issues. Tell us more about what you're "used to" OP.
