10/22 problem with KSA barrel

I have been fixing up a 10/22 I got and decided to add a KSA threaded bull barrel and a custom stock. The stock is not here yet but the barrel arrived yesterday so I decided to install it and play with it. However it was all work and no play! The gun would not extract about every third of fifth round, you would have to remove the mag and pry out the empty case with your thumbnail from the bottom. All went bad today when I got a dud round that did not fire. It was stuck in there so tight we had to pry it with a little screwdriver.
Tonight I removed the barrel and found that a round will not chamber by hand, it will drop in all but about 1/4 inch and to push it the rest of the way takes some force and you will have to pry it out with tools. The factory barrel the rounds fall in and fall out cleanly. Ever hear of this? I think the barrel is made wrong at the chamber.

Personally, I don't know anything about KSA barrels but I can tell you that a barrel that has a match chamber will not load just any old cartridge.
Try using high quality match ammo.
If you're upgrading your gun, you have to upgrade the ammo you feed it.

What ammo? I don't have a Keystone barrel but I do have barrels by Green Mountain, Volquartsen, Kidd and Whistle Pig and they function fine with everything I've fed them.

I have CCi's and Remington and even tried some Aguila stuff in it and they all jam up at the same point. The stamping on the barrel reads,... "22 LR only no Stingers" I got a buddy coming over this weekend with a bore camera and some chamber checkers to see if he can figure it out. I'm not going to try anything to fix it since it's one day old and had about 20 rounds fired through it.

My factory Ruger Barrel did that. That's why I replaced it- I wanted a match chamber.

The problem is that "if" a round don't fire (we have all had dud 22's) it's jammed in there so tight you have to pry the round out with a screwdriver and that is not right. The extractor hook grabs the round but keeps chewing up the back side of the rim because it cant pull the round out. 10/22's will run thousands of rounds well beyond dirty and this barrel is jamming up in less than 30 rounds??

I get your point.
A barrel that has a match chamber means that the chamber has tighter tolerance than a regular chamber. That's why they are more accurate. A 10/22 with a factory barrel will run thousands of rounds (generally any brand) through it because the chamber is loose. When you place a bullet in the chamber and turn it upside down it will fall right out with no resistance. A match chamber is snug and the bullet won't fall out easily. If you want that flexibility with ammo then a match chamber isn't for you.
In the pictures above I showed that a super-x won't chamber in my barrel so I don't use them in that gun, otherwise I would have to pry them out also.
Is there a chance that your barrel isnt right? I suppose there is but I don't think so.
My .02

I understand but did not buy a "match" barrel. Nowhere in the ad for it does it say "match". Does not make since to buy a match barrel for a backyard target gun. I already have a precision .22 bolt gun. I bought the bull barrel in stainless for that killer look with the custom stock coming for it but if it wont cycle random bulk ammo it's a useless barrel for me, should have just bought the stock Ruger bull barrel, sometimes a deal is not a deal???

Have you contacted the manufacturer of the barrel, or did I miss something?

Where did you buy it? Keystone has no barrel info on their site but Stocky's is a distributor and their ad says it has a target (not match) chamber.

"We are now the distributor of these aftermarket rimfire barrels. Shop and compare the values on these tackdrivers - by eliminating the middle men you'll save 25%-50% or more off normal brand-name prices! If you are a member of Rimfire Central or one of the other popular shooting forums you know we've had these on the drawing board for a very long time. We finally are able to get a very few of them to market. You'll find they have all of the precision features found on more well-known brand name barrels except for the price:
Your Choice of 4150 Chrome Moly Blued or 416 Stainless Steel
Available in 18" (Blue or Stainless)
Your Choice of Standard Round or Fluted Barrels (Either Finish)
Precision Target Chamber (no Stingers but Std. Long Rifle Ammo is fine)
Precision Flat Recessed Target Crown
Fine MicroGroove Rifling 1-16" Twist
We are offering these M.O.A. tackdrivers at this introductory pricing! For those with a more analytical bent I'll outline some of our thinking ... We are using the Ruger Target chambers beacuse they are slightly longer than the Bentz and therefore will take any garden variety .22 ammo as well as the match stuff - Bentz only takes match. Only thing you cannot shoot is the Stinger-type ammo with the longer cases. We have shot dozens of 1/2" groups with these barrels during testing and are confident you can too. We are using the least bullet-damaging rifling we can - the famous micro-groove, 1-16" twist; we went with a recessed flat target crown as it's very accurate and relatively hard to damage under everyday use."

For just about thhe same money you could have got a Ruger target barrel.

I got the barrel from an ebay vendor (mikes stocks) that sells a bunch of these barrels. I have been in contact with them and they have offered to take it back for a full refund but I don't really want to return it I just want to figure out how to make it work and if it's the barrel or something I'm doing wrong. I did go look and it is not a match chamber.

Okay now we're talking semantics. " Match chamber" vs. "Target Precision chamber".
Try Federal automatch. It's cheap, it's bulk and it will probably work as I showed in the pictures above.

Oh yeah... I forgot all about Mike's selling KSA barrels. I have bought several KSA Revolution stocks from him and he is great to deal with.
