I know, but Ruger uses a "target" chamber on their target, LVT and tactical 10/22's. It's sort of an inbetweener, not as long and sloppy as their sporter chamber and no where as tight as a Bentz or match chamber.

Agreed, it should be fine with automatch, everything I own runs just fine with it and the Whistle Pig rig that I put together for my daughter/grandkids uses almost nothing but automatch.

Have not shot the gun since but I think we found the issue, with a bore scope he found that two of the lands had machine burrs on them and they were actually "shaving" material off of the bullets. The barrel was all caked up on one side and snagging the rounds. He managed to clean the caked on crap out and run a reamer in by hand and cut the burrs out. The gun will now hand cycle full mags without hanging up and bullets drop in and out cleanly. He said that should take of the issue, going to shoot it tomorrow and see how it does. Will report back after shooting....

Final update: Shot the gun a lot today (sunday) and ran well over 300 rounds through it. No issues of any kind, except a magazine issue. I was told until the barrel gets some serious shooting time on it to run a "Bore snake" through it every 100 rounds to help clear the fouling. Seems to have been the trick as it shoot great now!
