New 10/22

Hi, im looking into getting a 10/22 and i want to get into customizing it a decent amount. I mainly want a bull barrel and new stock and maybe more upgrades down the road. My question is, is it possible to buy every part for a 10/22 scratch like an ar15 and build from the ground up, or do i need a stock 10/22. im also wondering of you can build from scratch if it would be overall cheaper to do, thanks.

Also i want to know if i did buy a 10/22 and didnt upgrade it out of the box is the accuracy that much less. i mean is it really worth spending 200+$ on barrel 250$ on a trigger ect if you are mostly just gonna be shooting at 100 yards. Wouldnt a decent optic on a stock 10/22 and maybe a new stock to remove the barrel band be pretty accurate

Im mainly just worried about accuracy out of the box, because i can't decide to go the bull barrel version or the way i initially intended to go which was with the M1 carbine look alike stock with tech iron sights because i love that ww2 look sooo much

Great thing about a 10/22 is you just buy any of them and the start customizing. Obviously the most base model is best. Then you can get barrels, trigger groups, stocks and gadegets etc. to your hearts content.

If you don't like your build or grow tied of it buy more parts and go for a different look. You can't go wrong.

Enjoy.

Out of the box accuracy on a carbine model is not that bad. You add a decent stock and even just the Ruger BX trigger and you will have a decently accurate 10/22 for pretty cheap.

Here are 50 yard groups when I sighted in my Rifle with BX Trigger and Primary Arms Scope . They will spread at 100 yards but I rather plink plastic bottles and shooting clays. A M1Carbine Tribute will be great with Tech Sights. You can build an 10/22 but will be expensive , there are plenty on Rimfire Central

Is that the 6X acss scope? If so how do you like it and how is it at closer ranges like 15-30 yards?
