Ruger 10/22 Mods (Bipod)

Hello all,

I'm fairly new at rifles/guns and I've been considering buying a 10/22 after reading so many good reviews about it.

The model I'm considering is the 1103 which is the hardwood, basic one. My question is, how difficult will it be to install a bipod on it ?

Most bipods attach to a sling stud and are pretty simple to install.

Easy install for sure. Show us your setup when you get it!

You'll need to drill and install a sling swivel on the front of the stock as it doesn't have one.

I have a UTG quick detach bipod I really like. Easy to adjust, very solid, and I've attached rail adapters to multiple rifles so I can swap between them quickly and only need the one bipod.

I have the same model, took me about 15 minutes to install the sling swivel and bipod. I also installed the bx trigger which is a drop in and makes the biggest difference in the rifle.
