Ruger 10-22 help

A few years back I replaced the stocks, firing pin, trigger and barrel. I went with a Shilen bull. Using Lapua ammo I could consistently break eggs at 100 yards and get a ragged hole at 50. Recently I decided to remove the barrel to thoroughly clean. Big mistake. I could not remove the barrel by hand. It would rotate a small amount but would not come out of receiver. Not wanting to use force I tightened it up and cleaned as normal. Since loosing it shoots terrible. The barrel is tight but the accuracy is degraded. Does anyone have a suggestion as how to proceed? Thanks

Iron sights or a scope? If the latter, you'll have to dial it in again. Ah, you'll probably have to do that for iron sights as well.

Welcome to the forums from middle Georgia. Hope you enjoy the knowledge shared here. From my perspective. Sit and think exactly how things were set up before the takedown to clean, where settings or if you had any indexing marks. Check the mating surfaces to insure something didn't get stuck or wedged where it shouldn't be. Did you use a torque gauge to insure your pressure was the same. my .02...
