Started with the run of the mill 10/22TD. One of the originals, back when no one made anything aftermarket for them.
Got a McGowen bull barrel when the first started doing them. I ordered a laminated stock from Boyds. In the description the stock was for a .920" barrel. Well it was, that is a .920" tapered barrel. Got the bit I needed to open up the barrel channel, but just never got around to it.
I was dong some searching the other day and came across 1022td woodstocks
Sent off an email to Mike and he got back to me willing to do the work on the foreend of the stock at a reasonable price. Sent it off to him Saturday and It was back in my mailbox today.
Mike did a great job and I can finally say the TD is done.
