I personally have never found a hi capacity mag that works to my satisfaction. However, recently a friend of mine told me about these:

Ruger 10/22 TriMag™*|*e-GunParts.com

Very simple to use and works like a champ. You can't rattle off 50 rounds in a row, but you do get thirty with minimal effort. I now have two of them and really like 'em!

T125 mags works really good but they are pricey.

TI25 Mags - Tactical Innovations Inc.

Saw that Trimag in a Ruger brochure. Seems like a good solution to hi-cap mag feeding problems. Schweet Charger!

I have a Butler Creek Steel Lips Bananna Magazine. I have had no failures with it. However, if I could do it over again I would buy multiple stock magazines. Just me - I don't like the tube sticking out the bottom like the long mag does.

I have 2 of the Butler Creek Steel Lip Bananna Mags also never had a problem with them. But with a extended round mag like these I would definitely go with the steel lips much more reliable feeding!

I don't use the trimag for hunting. I hunt with a standard mag and I loose the bipod

TI 25 hands down the best I have ever used.

I have 4 of these easy to adjust.

I have 2 Tri Mags coming from an Ebay auction to use with my new rifle. I personally like the idea of not having the long bananna clip sticking below the rifle because it looks like it will interfere with proper aiming/holding of the rifle. So far I've added a Yellow Jacket buffer, a Hogue Overmolded stock, a Barska 4 power illuminated reticle scope and will be adding a trigger with overtravel stop and modified bolt stop. I had a 10/22 years ago and sold it (I'm still kicking myself) and am looking forward to using my new one. BTW, I saw somewhere on the internet but can't remember where (senior moment) something similar to the Tri Mag but it held 4 factory Ruger 10/22 magazines. If I come across it again, I will post the link. As soon as I get a picture of my new "project" I'll post it. Can anyone recommend a good bipod to go with the Hogue stock? Later.

I found where I saw the ad about the quad magazine holder. It's at Brownell's and goes for $12.99. But, if it's like the double holder I purchased at my local gun shop, it requires a drop or 2 of super glue to hold the magazines in. I'm not too partial to that. Hope this is informative for someone..........

Black dog is now making 10/22 magazines, that i hear are pretty reliable. They even make a 50 round drum mag.

I've been using the Eagle 30 round mags with great success for 20+ years..
I had one break once & just threw it out on the range & shot it to pieces..
They only cost me $8ea & can still be had very cheap @ CDNN..
I'd like to see one of the Black Dog 50 rounders..
