Anyone know where i can get a threaded clamp-on adapter for a 10/22 carbine. I would like a muzzle brake that threads on and don't wanna change barrels. Do they even make em?

Just curious why would you want a muzzle brake on a 22 rifle? There is only minor recoil

The clamp on one wont seal properly for a seppressor to work right. A threaded barrel is needed for a supressor. try tactical solutions and yankee hill machine for barrels.

i think, but am not sure, that it uses a set screw type arrangement, hence the term screw on, but don't take my word for it. honestly i don't know how nice it would be for 15 bucks. it might be the same as this one here:

The model #FGR-041 flash hider is held in place by set screws, it does not thread onto the barrel. Note the slot that fits the front sight.

There are other models which uses the roll pin that pins the front sight in place. There not much need for a FH to be fitted onto the barrel of a 10/22 using threads since there is not much recoil. Pinning it in place is fine.

I have a FH on my 10/22. It diffuses some of the sound off to the side. The extra weight added onto the end of the barrel helps to dampen barrel harmonics.
And, it's a really great attachment to agitate the uber-liberal gun haters, who can't tell the difference between a 10/22 or a Mini-14 or any other EBR.
