This is a discussion on Pride Fowler - Rapid Reticle within the Ruger 10/22 Rimfire forums, part of the Rifle & Shotgun Forum category; I was wondering if any of you 10/22 guys have tried this scope on one of your 10/22's.
Rifle Scopes - Red Dot Pistol and ...
yea the manufacturer's site says 350 something but midway has the 6x fixed model for 235 and the 3 X 9 model for 285. check out the diferencein the lines on the 0 to 100 yard marks then the 100 to 200. That some serious drop at 200 yards!!
Thats way to expensive for any 22 rifle which has barely any power at 200yards. Buy a mildot from Centerpoint (I have the 4-16x40 dual illumintation mil dot on my 10/22), leupold, or any other company that people buy and give good marks.
I ended up getting a Burris Fullfield TAC-30 LRS in 3-9 X40. For the Money i think the burris will be a higher quality product. I did find that BSA makes a scope with reticle calibrated to .22lr but i dont trust BSA products. Had one on a pellet gun once that wasnt worth anything.

If you had a regular scope on a pellet gun that could be your problem. Airguns recoil differently from rimfire and centerfires. Using a non-airgun rated scope on an airgun can trash the scope.
I put the 3-9x Rapid Reticle on my SR-22. I love it so far. Havn't got it to the range yet just in the woods around my place.
Quality is great, and it's as clear as any of my Leupold or Burris scopes. And it has a way cool rectical with fine cross hairs are a big plus in my book.
I guess I feel that if you can afford to buy a 1022 and then add some extras a $250 scope is not that bad.
