Henry Lever Octagon H001T

Hey, James, look what I found!

I traded a $250 Mossberg 500 for this... I feel like I made out. Hopefully I can dig out my camera I misplaced from the move and can take some clearer pics.

The wood is stellar on this rifle. I like the octagonal barrel. It was made last year and I do not believe it was ever shot... my shotgun was well-used.

Congrats on the great find, NH. I have that same Henry Frontier and just love it. Think I will have to get it and the Rossi .357 and head for the range this week.

New Lever

A new addition since I posted last year;

My new (to me) Marlin 1895G .45-70 Guide Gun pictured on right with my 444P Outfitter. The Guide Gun has an old El Paso Weaver K2.5x (for now), the Outfitter has a 1.5-4.5x Leupold in place of the Bushnell that was on it last year.

(Henry .22 Magnum Octagon-Yonkers not Bayonne)

Not pictured are:

1. Browning 71 .348 Winchester High Grade (my favorite lever)
2. Winchester 1894 .38-55 shipped 1897
3. Winchester 1873 .32 WCF made 1890
4. Uberti 1873 .45 LC 24" Octagon Case Hardened pistol grip
5. Winchester 1892 Octagon take down .44-40 19" barrel
6. Winchester 64 .30-30

I think no one can have too many levers.

PS. Tomorrow I am going to pick up a Winchester 1895 in .270 Winchester! That'll make it 18 levers so far....
