Yeah I was intially worried about the fit between the upper and lower but its as tight as a dick tracey headband, no play what so ever. It should be a real tack driver, I know mine is.

I am gonna have to visit a surf skate shop in another town since we don't have one, but what a great idea. Gonna put that one in my toolbox for future reference.

I am really ready to finish his heavy, I have a set of weaver tactical high rings and top mount 1913 rail for them, yhm 1/2" risers, burris fastfire II, a nikon buckmaster 3x9x50 bdc scope, a yhm 1913 bipod mount, bipod, and jp enterprises bennie coolie break. Then I will have to take it down, carry it to the machine shop turn the barrel down and thread it for 1/2x28 tpi, no big deal. I have a machinist thats awesome, and has completed many projects for me including the original style m14 flashider made from 416 stainless on my mini 30. Then he wants to finish it off with a set of troy HK style flip up irons. Then I am sure I will be working up a round for it on the reloading press. Thats all if I get the parts in the next 6 months.

I am really happy with the ACS on the shtf gun, holds 4 extra lithium AA's for my 512 eotech. Had a rattle so I added 2 cotton balls inside each tube then added the batteries, problem solved. Will get the picks up her soon!

Also, glad to see this thread revived.

Thanks for sharing gpetrucci85. Let's keep this thread going. Maybe we should open it up to all the "Evil Rifles" on Feinstein's list and not just AR's.

She has almost 500 rounds through and has been flawless! She's a blast to shoot! Thanks for asking. I took the advice you gave me to break her in. Thanks again for that.

Thanks!! it's an NcStar red/green dot from Midway Usa, mount came with it. Pretty basic, but it serves its purpose, and has stood up fine with almost 1,000 rounds through the rifle with it on there.
