I love it. Gives me a constant cheek weld no matter what position it's in and I feel like the extra weight helps to balance out the barrel. The pre set feature is excellent and easy to operate with one hand. I have the ACS also which is still very nice but I don't like the adjusting latch and I don't feel like it gives me as much stability at shorter lengths.

I use my rifle for everything from NRA HP matches to tactical speed drills. Using the UBR with a loop sling at 600 yards can't be beat for stability and comfort. The various LOP's allow my wife and son to shoot comfortably as well.

Compared to the fixed stock M4's I used in the Marines the UBR is a Cadillac. Didn't even know such things existed back in 2004, lol.

Cool deal, thanks for the update. I have several ACS's like 4 or 5 and love them, always been curious about the ebr, and have plans for 2 prs stocks for my heavy's.

Here is a new configuration for one of my existing rifles.

Swapped out my Spikes Tactical 9" BAR Rail for a Midwest Industries 12" light rail.
Swapped out my PrimaryArms Micro Dot for a Nikon P223 3-9X40. Had the chance to take it out this morning and sight it in. The glass on this scope is a lot clearer than what I expected. The only thing I want to do is get rid of the scope mounts that came with it. I'm looking at possibly replacing them with some American Defense mounts. Need to do a bit more homework on them.

Cell phone picture only. I'll take better ones at a later date.

Outstanding, welcome to the Nikon family, mostly all I have on my rifles. You should check out the weaver tactical high rings, and the yhm 1/2" risers, worked real well for me, keep a 7/16" wrench in the buttstock to remove the rings in the event of an emergency. I have to admit thats a great looking rifle! i am still working on adding the picture of my tactical AK, soon hopefully.

Went to the LGS (Turner's) today toget a reddot style optic for my mini 14. They actually had a anderson arms and a del ton AR in stock. Both were dressed up barbies. $1500 for the anderson and $2000 for the del ton (with super nice accessories). Since my wife and I have given them too much money, one of the associates let me know that they had a few of the 80 S&W MP 15s they got in a couple of days ago at the warehouse. Being on the good custormer list has its advantages. List price. Jumped on it, now waiting for the 10 day waiting period thanks to the republik of Kalifornia.

Thanks Tacky. I actually just ordered an AD mount for it. I was quite pleased with the scope and pleasantly surprised with the glass itself.
Looking forward to seeing the AK.

No problem buddy. Glad to provide input whenever I can. It is pretty heavy but I've got a heavy barrel so it all balances out. I really like the stability it provides on the 600 yard line. Likewise, I like the stability collapsed in CQB drills. I only want one AR rifle for many uses and this stock was the way to go. Pricey but worth it.

Keeping It Simple.

Sig Sauer M400 enhanced OD green...well it was.

Have a slightly longer free float tube on its way, to cover what remains of the original front sight, (now a gas block of sorts) because my Leupold 1.75-6X32mm VX-III scope is plenty enough sighting equipment for use on tin cans and paper targets.

Olympic Arms 5.56 fully fluted barrel...(just because I like the look)

Jewell trigger...(big improvement over stock...duh)

Fun little plinker!

Now to find some more ammo...

Thats something that the ACS is as well, heavier, but balances out my quaded Ar's like you said with Hbar's .750's or .936 bulls. I went the Several AR's for several different tasks, seeings how all mine are a little different from each other, you know they are addictive. I am however looking to try an ubr stock one day, who knows! Really appreciate the insight!

Humm got the last bit of my AR parts in a couple weeks ago and I think this is it. Other than different optics (1-4x24 scope and/or magnifier??) and maybe a CTR stock upgrade, I think my AR is finished..

- Midwest Industries BUIS
- Aimpoint Pro
- Raptor ambi charging handle
- B.A.D. A.S.S. ambi safety
- Norgon ambi mag release
- PWS FSC556 brake
- Magpul MOE grip
- Magpul AFG2
- Spike's T2 buffer
- JP Industries flat buffer spring
- Double Star Twang Buster
- Geissele SSA trigger

Hummm, almost got enough parts for a all new AR left over.

LOL. No grip tape on that one. Need to have some free time to do all of my mags.

Beautiful rifle and even better pictures. What type of lighting/backdrop did you use for those pics? Thanks for posting.
