Nah, it was just bump stocks. Still shot a mag with it, it was fun, but it's not the same as clicking the selector lever twice to F/A

Also, if you win the lottery and want to get your F/A, there is a law enforcement tax on the weapon. You can just give it to me in cash. I'll take care of it for you
Good deal! I'll take you up on it as soon as I win the lottery! BTW - with my slidefire stock I've been told it will shoot up to 900 rpm. It does take a bit of practice... and a lot of ammo!

Sounds like I've got to be satisfied with my slidefire stock for now. I really don't use it that often, but it's fun when I do.

Just as sr40ken said, unless your reciever was made before may of 86 you can't "convert" an ar15 to full auto. The reciever is what the atf considers the gun. With some brands such as h&k it is the sear, but not most.

Bummer! I thought it was just the sear on all of them.

Oh well, I can't afford the tax anyway!

You can put an RDIAS or Registered Lightning Link (made and registered before the 86 cut off) In any lower receiver, those parts are considered the machine gun. What you said does apply for registered M16 lowers.

I'm from NC. The problem with FA is not so much with the Feds, just get your ducks in a row and pay your tax fee and you're good to go. The problem here is with local Law Enfofcement. The Sheriff in my county WILL not approve full auto weapons, no matter who or what you are.

This! A type 07/02 can have one without a demo letter because they are a manufacturer, but no civilian can own a post '86 full auto, period.

Yep I had a DI tell me if he ever saw us using burst in a battle field he would punch us in the face. We did it once at the range and I was suprised how quickly you go through a magazine.
