It's hard to choose just one, so I won't. My favorite non-Ruger semi-auto...

Center Fire Rifle:

S&W M&P 15-Sport

Rimfire Rifle:

S&W M&P 15-22

Can you tell which other U.S. firearms manufacturer I like?

SigSauer P226, although the Walther PPQ and XDm 5.25 are breathing down it's neck!

For centerfire my current favorite is my Benelli R-1 .300 Win Mag. For rimfire my Sig 522 is by far my favorite. Not even my best 10/22 can match it.

Some of you guys seem to have trouble distinguishing a rifle from a pistol.

I have two Winchester Model 100's a Rifle and a Carbine., both in .308. They both are fine hunting guns.

Here's the Rifle

And the Carbine

AND, I can't leave out my Hog-Killing Saiga S-12

This is a REAL hard decision for me since I own most of the military style center fire rifles produced from WWII own from the garand, m1a, Aug, Hk91, AK, Ar in more than several configurations from 5.56 to 6.8 to 308win. Man this is a tuff one since I love them all, I would just have to say I shoot the AR platform more than the rest, not that I like them more than the others its just usually what I end up with at the range.

Semi-auto rifles really aren't my faves, but I do really like my US Rifle, cal. 30, M1. My Tommy Gun is okay, but I rarely shoot it. I've had ARs, and they always just sit there; they're utterly uninteresting and un-fun for me to shoot. I've considered a BAR on a number of occasions. I'm not sure whether I'd end up loving one or not.

I loved my tommy gun as well, just not the 13lb weight empty.
