I have a couple of old guns that belonged to my grandmother. They've sat in a closet for decades, though I might have shot the .22 rifle when I was a kid. She taught me how when I was 4 years old.
The rifle is a Remington Model 2, .22 semi-auto.
The shotgun is a Sears, Roebuck & Co. Ranger 12 gauge pump action.
Both appear to be functional, but I know for a fact that neither of them have been fired in over 50 years.
Does anyone know anything about these old family heirlooms? My first google on the shotgun said that it might be worth as much as $375 to $500 providing it's in good condition and it is in pretty good shape.
My search on the Remington Model 2 didn't reveal much of anything.
I'm going to clean them up, check them out and if they look ok, I plan to take them to the range and see how they work.
