I took it apart and put it back together lol, much simpler than I had anticipated. I am getting proficient with it already, I really think I could build one myself after blowing the thing up and reassembling it lol. I can't wait to shoot it my woman and I will shoot it together (I converted her from anti-gun to pro-gun rather quickly). She loves AR's, it is her favorite rifle although she can darn near outshoot me with my .30-06. She pops 6" targets at 200 yards shooting off my trusty National Guard backpack in the prone position with alarming regularity. Yes she shoots .30-06 with 165 grain handloads prone, tough girl I have lol. And with my .243 she is just flat out lethal. So she wants me to get an AR-10 now so that is indeed the next project. I think I'll build that myself... Shooting for a a high budget so all high quality parts.

Nice production rifle, the AR-15 and AR-10 are very simple to build.

Congrats on the new ArmaLite. I have one myself and, although I'm not a diehard AR guy, I like it immensely.
