I JUST got a Henry BB 357 - not even 48 hours ago - haven't shot it yet!

Man Jewelry!

Let me tell ya this. Last evening about 8pm Sunday I emailed Henry a question and by 8:17 this morning they had an answer for me.

WOW, fast reply.

I am looking forward to the range soon!

beautiful lever gun! had this one on the list for a while until henry re-released the 1860, that took the top spot for the next henry purchase!

I do have a henry .30.30, very accurate solid hunting rifle.

life is good!

DPris will become famous soon enough
Rimfires have the quarter-cock hammer notch, centerfires use the in-hammer transfer bar.

I sure like what I'm seeing in this video. .44 mag, but can't tell the barrel length.

I have the Big Boy with brass receiver in .44 mag. The barrel is the 20" octagonal which makes them a tad heavy to carry in the woods compared to my older Marlin 30-30. The brass receivers are softer than the steel so they will scratch and tarnish easier than their blued steel kin. They look nice for a conversation piece with their shiny looks. But if you want an utility lever from Henry go with their blued steel receiver models so you won't be in remorse with the first scratch on the brass receiver. Their customer service is outstanding!
