I disagree with that, yes I know the manual says that but it's completely wrong.
The case has nothing to do mechanically to the rifle to cause it to jam or ftf. I have been using aluminum with my JRC from the beginning when it wasn't built correctly and used them just this last outing and it preformed perfectly, you must understand that JRC blamed user, ammo everything they could think of except their product to buy time to get this firearm right. They redesigned every moving part in this rifle and finally got the 9mm right.
