? So What Could Make It Better Than Trump Winning

Getting rid of them there Pesky Varmints.
After shooting the Golden Boy with the Scope on it, decided to get one for the Old Marlin.
Got it all set up last Saturday, have not seen any Pesky Varmints until this morning.
Seen a Dwarf Red Squirrel and got the Old Marlin.
Seeing that thing through the Scope was like the First time seeing anything on a 48" High Definition TV.
What a pleasant sight for these Old Eye's.
Yep, 1 Less Pesky Varmint running loose.

Now except for the 1 Fox Squirrel that I got this year, these Dwarf Red Squirrel's Me think's are a New Type of Hybrid.
They are just a smidgen bigger than a Chipmunk. They are Not as Big as a Normal Red Squirrel.
They are very Quick and Don't stay in one place for long.

Allot of the pictures that people have shown saying they have gotten a Red Squirrel just might be a Fox Squirrel. Believe me Not trying to be a Wiseguy.
They too are around here and only got 1 of them this year.
Been Searching around different Sites today about these Dwarf Red Squirrels.
No one really says that They exist.
But did read that People in Appalachian States Call Them "Fairydiddle".
And They do Exist.

Would like to know if anyone has more Information about These.
Thanks

Should have put a Scope on the Old Marlin some time ago, going Friday to get one for the Model 60 that we have.

Feed a lot of them on the back deck. Every year when I'm bringing in firewood I have to move the walnuts. Like having them around.

Nice looking rifle. I have squirrels and have been known to thin the herd.

Pest for me is any critter that has done any damage to Crops, Food or Home.
We once had 52 Fruit Tree's planted in the Back 40. They were around 7 years old and just really starting to be Good Producer's.
We had a Bad Snow Storm, dumped about 3-4 feet Snow.
A week later noticed Brown Patches in the Snow around the Tree's.
Went and looked, Varmints were Striping off the Bark off of the Tree's.
Not Eating it just Striping off the Bark.
During the Day Squirrel's and at nite Rabbit's were attacking the Tree's.
Planted those Tree's 30 Year's Ago not 1 made it through that Winter.
Been at War with them there Pesky Varmints ever since.

Thank You, bought it new back in 1973.
The Scope is now a Plus.

I grow a vegetable garden every year. Squirrels come down and take my tomatoes and green peppers.
I wouldnt mind if they took a few, live and let live, but they try to take most of them. They dont even eat what they take.
They take one bite and drop them, then grab another, until they cant see any more.
My scoped pellet gun stops that varmint nonsense and I and my friends and neighbors get to eat the produce that I grow.
Varmints can be a wasteful nuisance, that can be controlled by pest control.

Rodents are one of man's most persistent, destructive, and dangerous enemies. Hanta virus and plague are some of the worst. Rodent carried plague killed up to 55 million people in the middle ages. Plague is still present. They thrive on filth and seek refuge in man made structures. Their feces and other waste are a constant source of contamination.

Rodent predation on crops is more than annoying causing huge economic losses.

I detest rodents - their beady eyes, scurrying motions, and nibbling manners are repulsive to me.

I killed my 1st creature, a dump rat at age 12 and have been killing them ever since. I never liked Micky Mouse - that naked snake like tail.
