Anybody have one of these?

Went to the range yesterday and a guy was shooting a new KelTec gen2 sub-2000 9mm carbine (configured for glock mags)

I got to hold it and it sure felt great... The guy was shooting accurately with it and it cycled well

Anyone have one? Thoughts?

The gen 2 was announced about a month after I bought mine. I have not shot a gen 2, only handled one in the store. I like mine and think the new one is an improvement.

The 9mm Glock version seems to command a premium. Around here, they get bought up and put on Armslist for twice as much. Heck of a concept, and I think it's good for it's intended purpose...hide-away backpack carbine. As a gun you'd shoot a bunch, probably not the most fun thing to play with. Now if Ruger would bring back the PC9 in a Takedown model...now we're talking!

I shot one a few years ago.
A local forum had a meet up of the members.
We all agreed to allow each other to try anything we brought.
Felt very odd and inexpensive.
The trigger was the worst.
But it worked w/o a problem, and I was able to hit the black @ 50yards for the entire mag.

I don't have one, but have shot a friend's. He carries his under his truck seat with a couple of 30-round Glock mags.

As noted, not exactly something I want to take to the range and shoot all day. But, it was kind of fun.

I have one in 40sw. It is accurate and can be brought into a hotel room in a small bag and avoids handgun problems

I'd like to possess a G2. I'm waiting for the right price. I may be waiting awhile. I want one in the 9mm Glock configuration. I see 40s for sale all the time, but I'm not really interested at this time.

Definitely some cool features.

I like the concept of it but just like a couple others have said. I looked at one in a store a while back and did not like it at all. Wasn't comfortable to shoulder nor was the trigger that great. I kind of when "Uuuggghhh, this is definitely not for me" lol.

But hey, everyone is different. Some people seem to love them.

I've got a gen 2 9mm Glock magazine model.
Didn't "need" it but the whole folds in half thing is cool
When I went back to my LGS to buy it they were out of stock but they took my # and two weeks later I got a call it was in. $425 later it went home with me.

So far mine's functioned perfectly fine and has eaten everything I've fed it from Tula steel case to WWB to my own reloads.
Last Sunday another guy at the range did have problems using Federal aluminum case with his Sub2K but I believe the manual actually says not to use aluminum cases.

Due to a severe cross eye dominance problem it's the one rifle I shoot left handed (optics are pointless on a rifle meant to be folded in half!). Haven't shot it off a rest but accuracy is much better than I am shooting lefty. It's not MOA but it is MOBG. At 100yds I was fairly consistent in hitting the 10" gong at 100yds.

Takedown and cleaning is easy enough without any special tools.

Mine is fun to shoot. Stored in an old gym bag with some happy sticks for grab and go SHTF type stuff.

Like to sink the money for an indexing forearm on it to keep a red dot on it.

Get one

Kenny53 will become famous soon enough
I have an older model. I enjoy it and it is fun to shoot. I have also been told by my youngest son I am not allowed to sell it ever.

Well I have he gen 2 .40 set up with Glock 22 magazines. I hung a crimson trace laser under the muzzle so it still folds. Say what you might it runs all day long and spits 180 grains right where it points. Never had a burp in countless rounds...
