Looks very well built. I already tore it down, cleaned and oiler her up & reassembled. The machine work is very fine & excellent. As you can see, I already mounted a scope with Millet AR mounts. The trigger is pretty nice. Very minimal creep, and you can feel the break. I dont think it needs any work there. . I might not get to pull the trigger on the range today, as it is pouring the rain down.

Im glad I got the takedown model. This one was a 10 round compliant one, but that obviously makes no difference as any glock mag fits. I already bought 2 spare 10 rounds & 2 spare 17 rounds. With three 10 rounds, I can put different ammo in for hunting. SO that will work out nice. Probably use the 17's for range duty.

It does not have the threaded barrel,, which makes no difference to me either. but It did come with a pleasant surprise in the box. A free carry case with tools.

So far, I am impressed as one could be for not shooting it yet.

Good deal! The handguard on the takedown model looks similar to what I went with, I like it. Only a matter of time before you swap out the grip and butt stock, I went magpul on both. Just a note on the buffer tube-it is commercial in size so you need a commercial butt stock, not a mil spec.

No threaded muzzle?! How will you tame its wicked recoil or make increasingly loud noise with a break!!??

Nice rifle. Let us know how it rolls...

I had a chance to run 100 rounds through it before dark. it was raining really hard,, but I cant shoot tomorrow, and wanted to give it a try.
So I got it dialed in @ 50 yards on an 8 inch paper plate with a 1 inch marker dot. It was consistently hitting the bull.
So I stepped out to about 150+ yards. With 1 mill dot of elevation, she was right on the money. I had some old pop cans laying out there from 150 to about 175 yards, and was hitting them no problem pretty consistently.
That was shooting cheap 115 grain FMJ metal case CCI.

It ran like a champ. No issues at all. I would imagine, like my other 9's, the 124 grain will be much better.

Maybe sometime here in a few days when the weather gets nice, I will set some real targets up and try it off the bench and see just how accurate it really is & post some target pics. . If I can hit pop cans @ 150+ with just a rest off a porch rail,, its definetely good enough for shooting coyotes @ 200,, or further.

I am very impressed so far, as I think I got a real good shooter. I really like this rifle already.

If there is ANY possible complaint. I can see where I will be getting the magpul rubber coated stock. You cant feel the vibration on your face when firing . Not really bad, but a little distracting. Might be because Im just used to MonteCarlo wood stocks,,so,,. Penz83 already said that was probably going to be something I would change. He was right.

Yea, CTR, ACS, STR, all with the friction lock would fix that problem. I like the CTR.

The friction lock stuff is nice, I went with the standard MOE to save a few bucks. But I don't like the rattle so I ran a few strips of tape down the buffer tube to take up the slop

I like the idea of the ACS with the storage. that would make a nice place to store an allen wrench , etc. Cant see where the cheek rest is rubber coated though.

I didn't know that it was coated. Mine isn't. Maybe that's new.
