Tried to find 4198, 4895, 3031(IMR or Hodgdon) for reloading the 38-55 Winchester and it's all back ordered or out of stock. Same with CCI Large Rifle primers. this s**t is getting old.
We are all in the same boat, I have alot of brass, atleast 500 primed and ready, of ..223, but no bullets to put into them. I used my last pack of cci small rifle primers. I am not doing much better with the large caliber stuff either. I can find powder here somewhat, BLC-2, Reloader 7, win 760, and i might have scored 2 lbs of H110 or w296, have a friend on vacation out of state who found it, and I hope he scooped it up for me. My buddies that reload are all looking out for each other if they run across something we need. Now bullets, thats another story, I haven't seen bullets anywhere, or cci primers of any size. Its getting REAL old. i refuse to pay the 2X gunbroker prices for what I need. I share your disgust, and hope supplies come back soon.

I caught Winchester LP Primers in stock last week at Powder Valley but they didn't last long.
I'm still stocked well on other components.
I cast for every caliber I shoot and have about 3 tons of lead stashed back plus all I need to make whatever hardness alloy I need.
I have a mold to cast a gas checked bullet for the 5.56/223 and several K in gas checks but I've never used it. I've still got plenty of jacketed bullets, 5-6K. I just don't shoot my AR that much.
Hopefully by mid summer we will start seeing supplies back on the shelves.

It appears that the current administration has enough other stuff to worry about right now that their attention is on covering their butts.

BTW, Powder Valley does have Tula LR Mag primers in stock now for $30 per K if someone needs them.

I can understand places like Midway, Graf and Sons, Mid South, Sinclair, etc. being low or out of factory ammo like 45 ACP, 9mm and 5.56 ammo as probably more use those in factory ammo than reload for them but primers and powder? Makes no sense to me.

Fortunately about a year or so back I stocked up on LP and SP primers, pistol powder and have enough 45 ACP cases to lat until the next millennium but I just recently got back into rifle shooting and had zero primers or powder. I was fortunate to find the dies I needed and the brass but that was it. Well, back to loading more 45's I guess.

One thing's for sure. If you're into black powder, there's no shortage of that or the components. I've seen them everywhere. I may have to go back to my old .58 cal Zouave if I want to shoot rifles again. I still have powder, caps and mini balls for that one.

I couldn't have said it better myself, i quit dealing with them a few years back when their shipping for (2) $20 mags costed $60 to ship both from 2 different warehouses. That was ground not next day air, and I don't live at the Arctic Circle. They lost my business after that. I always like "Expensive as ****" when describing them.

On another note I did score a pound of superformance today. I should have my powders covered when I do get the bullets eventually.

Polishing brass today and through the long weekend. Got a pretty nice supply of bullets, primers and powder ... so acquisition mode is over for now. Time to get to work.

I haven't loaded today but will be tomorrow. I went to 2 LGS's, Bass Pro, and Cabelas today.

I scored 500 lead SWC's and a pound of Bullseye from my #1 LGS so I can finally load some light .357 loads for plinking and small critter control/ hunting. I seen ammo was scarce in the big stores and still overpriced in the smaller ones. I will be proud to say I will be loading in the morning.

I had a friend cast up some nice looking "Buck Busters" from the Lee 452-300 mold, 300gr WFN GC design.

Today's reloading session was limited to 5 round strings for load development with this bullet.

5rds 300gr WFN GC over 17.0gr Hercules 2400
5rds 300gr WFN GC over 18.0gr Hercules 2400*
5rds 300gr WFN GC over 18.0gr LilGun
5rds 300gr WFN GC over 16.0gr Alliant 2400

*this load may be questionable and may be pulled and not fired, but this is also Hercules 2400 and burns slower than Alliant 2400 so it may be fine.

These loads are NOT SAFE in a New Vaquero, they are only to be used in the Original Vaquero, Blackhawk, Super Blackhawk.
