Yeah if you arent reliant on the immedite market! I have been calling shops and even struck out at a show last weekend for small rifle primers. Used my last 50 yesterday. I only was able to find 100 locally in the last 3 mo. Just may have to buy some at 2x online.

Came close to reloading! Put an ad in Craigslist trade 2 boxes of 300gr Hornady XTP-MAG JHP bullets for one pound of 2400. got a call from a guy who wants the bullets and will trade partial can of 2400 plus cash.

PM'd another guy who has some magnificent looking Keith type LSWC that he had a hollowpoint mold made for, asked for 100 of those, might just get them.

Then made some really neat looking grips for my birdshead vaquero out of some Moose antler, the lower part right off the skull is solid dense bone with wonderful colors, will finish them tomorrow and post PICS!!

Today was a good day, even if I didn't shoot or load one round but I came close!

Loaded 50 rounds of 245gr SWC's, for my Flattop 44 Special, from Dry Creek Bullet Works that arrived today. It's what they call their "Blasting bullets" and they look and load nice.

Hopefully things will settle down and you can buy a bunch. I picked up 1,000 Winchester small pistol primers last month for $34. I used to think having 1,000 was excessive!

Didn't get a chance to reload because my bench has firearms on it that need cleaning. I have about 300 rounds waiting for powder and will get to it in the next day or so. I'm also a single stage press user and like you after actually 50 I need to get up and walk around. 454, 41, 357, and 38 waiting for my attention.

Cleaned a couple hundred .38 spl cases and loaded 60 with 4.3 grains HP38 and 140 gr LCFP. Very nice IDPA round. Run a little over 800fps.

firescout will become famous soon enough
Yesterday, I tumbler cleaned about 100 .38 Spl cases. About a week and a half ago, I loaded 100+ 9mm rounds on my RCBS Piggyback. Next week, I'll try to get the .38s loaded.

Loaded up 200 9mm this afternoon and deprimed/resized 200 45acp & 40 s&w. Those will get loaded up over the weekend. Love spending time at my reloading bench.

Don't know how long it took (and I don't care because I enjoyed every minute of it!) but I finished off 100, 45 ACP loads of 200 SWC and med-heavy charge of Titegroup, on my turret press (hand indexed). Prepped 50 or so 30-06 for my coming Garand and that too, was a joy...

Tonight, I plan on loading up another 100 round box of .45 Colt. Must have loaded around 800 in the last month or so.... Amazing how fast one goes through them.... Well, leaving work here in just a few minutes to go out 'shoot'n and have more to reload .
